Traditional summer camps near South Carolina that are perfect for your son or daughter can be hard to find. You may want to give up, being that summer is only a month away.  Well, your search is finally over! We are Camp Blue Ridge, a family operated, coed, residential summer camp located along the Blue Ridge Mountains in northern Georgia. We strive to develop an independent camper while focusing on educational and social development in a fun community setting. What will you do everyday at our traditional camp? Well, we offer over forty different activities, go on various field trips, and hold special events all the time. Every three days, campers will select their activities, they can continue with some, or select new ones. We offer arts & crafts, team sports, digital photography, drama, music production, go carts, gymnastics, martial arts, outdoor skills, swimming, water sports, horseback riding, and more! For our teen campers, we offer a program that combines traveling and traditional camping. In addition to all of our activities on campus, teens will get to travel twice a week to places like Atlanta Braces Baseball games, bowling parties, movies, Lake Lanier Island, and more! Campers of all ages can participate in tips to white water rafting, Six Flags Over Georgia, climbing/bouldering expeditions, and more. A typical day of traditional camp at Camp Blue Ridge is filled with nonstop fun. Campers will wake up at eight, head to breakfast, cleanup, then begin their summer camp activities for the day. In between activities, there is lunch, rest periods, mail/package time, dinner, and evening activities. We have an amazing crew of summer camp staff that strive to give campers the best summer ever.
